Malie, a native of San Diego, currently serves as a part-time intern at Platt/Whitelaw Architects while pursuing her full-time studies at San Diego State University.
Her love for building cool stuff and getting creative has been with her since her Lego-building days (yep, she’s still at it!). Growing up, you could always catch the HGTV channel on at her house, and that really got her wheels turning about architecture, construction, and making spaces look awesome.
Malie’s got big dreams. Her ultimate goal is to explore the world, with Africa and South America at the top of her hit list. She’s planning on soaking up all those global vibes and letting them shape her career down the line.
When she’s not hustling at work or hitting the books, you’ll find Malie soaking up the great outdoors. She’s a hiking enthusiast, and she’s got two furry partners in crime – Johnny the Pitbull and Moe the Argentinian dogo. And that’s not all – hanging out with her friends and family, whipping up new recipes, and baking up batches of cookies and cupcakes are some of her other happy activities.
