Rick is a San Diego native. As a young boy he watched San Diego Stadium being built, and over the next several decades was a lifelong fan of both the Chargers and the Padres. More recently he watched San Diego Stadium get demolished, making way for the new home of his alma mater, the Aztecs. Rick received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University. He has spent most of his 30+ year career in finance departments of various A/E firms, including a 300 person healthcare and education architectural firm, and a 125 person civil engineering firm that was heavily involved in the major Qualcomm Stadium expansion during the 1990’s. He is an active California CPA. During his free time, Rick enjoys reading and going on long walks and hikes all over our beautiful city.
