Richard Brady & Associates retained Platt/Whitelaw Architects to design tenant improvements for a two-story 20,000 sf building that would serve as the new corporate headquarters. The client wanted a sustainable building and control of interior environmental quality. PWA designed an inviting workplace that considered lighting, temperature and humidity control, energy efficiency, acoustics, air quality, private vs collaborative areas, colors and finishes, ergonomics, and accessibility. Other elements addressed in the project were elevator, entry lobby, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, team meeting areas, kitchen, lounge, gym, and storage.
