Iskcon Temple Complex

PWA developed design and construction documents for a Temple complex for ISKCON of Escondido. The Temple was designed in the traditional Vedic style of India, based on the Owner’s concepts, elevations and floor plans. The 23-acre project included a 15,000 sf Main Temple with two-levels; a dormitory (designed for expansion); an Indian-style Balaji Temple; a photovoltaic system; children’s play area; traditional gardens; wedding lawn; green house; tree replacement; fire mitigation; irrigation system; parking and public right-of-way improvements. Later phases included three additional structures; an entrance gate; additional parking; water features; fountains; and formal gardens. The project was never built.
